Contract Background
Death Valley National Park is a division of the National Park Service (NPS), U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) and is part of the Executive Branch of the Federal Government. NPS staff in general are charged with the management of some of the nation's most precious natural and cultural resources.
Death Valley Interpretation personnel are an integral part of overall Park operations. Interpretation staff supports staff supports Death Valley National Park on a regular basis.
Job Duties:
Shall provide personnel possessing the skills, knowledge and training to satisfactorily perform the services required under this contract. This includes
Death Valley National Park website
- Refresh current website through a content management system, including reviewing and editing text; changing out dated photos and adding new photos.
- Assist with reorganization of website including revised navigation, formatting, and landing pages.
- Assist with development of new content including National Park Service Centennial content. Consult with park staff to develop ideas for new pages; seek draft content from subject matter experts; edit content and graphics; post to website.
Social media
- Review and refine current social media strategy
- Post newly developed web videos and podcasts on various venues including park website, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Develop and create podcasts on a variety of park and issue related subjects.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Excellent written communication skills including proof-reading and editing; experience in web-based communication; graphic design skills; experience in social media.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
